#ServiceLove: A Time as an Intern at TIActs!

Ms. Adetutu Awodipe freely serving as a TIActs ModelAdvocate!

She was a Registered Nurse: I was still a Nursing Student. But Adetutu Awodipe came to Together Inspiration Acts with a desire to fulfill her six-month Master of Public Health Internship while making a difference with us. With such a humbling gesture, Tutu went over and beyond to make this internship happen, and has engaged with us and our Service Partners since November 2014. Now at the conclusion of her program, we simply have words of gratitude to share.

Adetutu has been serving the community as a BSN-trained Registered Nurse for 4 years. Because of her experience, she has been able to guide and advise us as we have planned outreaches in Baltimore. She has brought to us innovative & new ideas that have helped us make true impact. What has been most impressive is her strong commitment to both her academic advancement and her career as a nurse (which she has continued faithfully); and not once has she uttered a word of complaint. She works around her full schedule and still does what she says she will, and communicates clearly when she needs to make changes. I have gleaned what it means to be a professional from her, and looking back at how she has represented our company, we could not have acquired better support!

It was an honor serving with you, Adetutu! We are better because of you. We appreciate and applaud you for expanding our perspective and showing us that we can be so much more! We pray the very best for you as you move forward in your Public Health and Nursing careers!

BSN-MPHers, out to make a difference :D

Sincerely,
-tia
