A Smile is...

An expression.

A way to show that I feel good,

Or a gesture to contrive a good feeling within;

And with you,

A smile is

Contentment.

Gratitude for what we have, whether much or little

Knowing that we're blessed with the things that matter

A smile is an outward sign often accompanied by laughter

In being entertained by you,

All your stories and jokes.

And as you say

A smile is 

Something I show

That makes you happy

So today I smile for you.
