INTRODUCING...Purppie The Purple Hippo!

We are extremely excited about how inspiration is coming to life through the new home to our Community Outreach, Together Inspiration Acts! We are going to introduce you to the vision through our volunteers, partners, sponsors and consultants very soon. But while we wait, meet tia's new hug buddy away from home:

Purppie the Purple Hippo!

Now at ECHO Community Church, we just learned about Elephants as The Family pet, a very powerful message that would minister to your family relationships.
The ECHO Community Church Message on The Elephants in our Families, February 2014
But did you know that  after the elephant and rhinoceros, the hippopotamus is the third-largest type of land mammal and the heaviest extant artiodactyl? (Wikipedia)

These are humongous mammals, and though we've learned to give away our pet Elephants,
I would like to propose to you that there's a Hippo in your Closet.

Closet

Yes YOUR Closet!

Have you like me been scared out of your witts when that once hidden and imagined "Hippo"
breaks down the closet door and emerges, revealing her amazing expanse and magnitude?

Well Purppie the Purple Hippo is no different!
In fact, she refuses to stay in my closet; she even follows me around!

She's the color I like to call "baby purple", that perfect blend of pink and blue
predominant in our celebration of babies (often blue for boys and pink for girls).

But that's not why she's called Purppie.

Purppie is my new icon to remind me of...

Purpose

We all have one.
The dreams, the visions, the aspirations we cherish.
The burning passion within that ultimately can't be contained as she breaks down all limitations and barriers and becomes alive!
That thought that causes your heart to skip beats;
The yearning aching deep inside.
That intense desire to become!
I decided to make "Purppie" an integral part of my team this year to remind me of my WHY
and offer a hug during those times when I have to walk alone.

Because of "Purppie", I am reminded of the song we produced called "What Am I Here For?"
Which since we made public through a collaborative project with our dear friends,
has truly become our Theme Song!
It is a rendering that may one day develop into our Passion and Purpose Project.

Please enjoy a few moments to reminisce with me.
Key in to the lyrics and think about YOUR "Purppie" :)

I know that I am not alone when I say that I cannot wait for the fulfillment of PASSION and PURPOSE in my life! But while we wait and work hard to BECOME

Please share a brief moment with Purppie and have a hug!
